Easy Ranch Dip Recipe

This easy ranch dressing recipe is made with nonfat Greek yogurt and fresh lemon making it a perfect guilt-free snack dip.


Units Scale
  • 1 cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup milk (I use skim)
  • 1 tsp fresh squeezed lemon
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tsp garlic powder (or 1 minced garlic clove)
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh or dried dill leaves
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives or minced green onion (or both)


  1. In a medium bowl pour 1/4 cup of milk and add the lemon and vinegar to the milk, whisk, and let sit about 5 minutes. This will create buttermilk.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and whisk it well, add more or less milk depending on desired consistency.
  3. Serve immediately or store airtight in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.


You can use extra lemon in place of the vinegar, or extra vinegar in place of the lemon. Both will give good flavor, I prefer the combination of both.

The dried herbs and seasonings can be interchanged with fresh depending on preference.

1 tsp of pickle juice can be used instead of fresh chopped dill.
